Here are 2 new environment concepts I came up with. I'm definitely having too much fun.
In some God of War III news, Sony recently released the extended full trailer to the highly anticipated game. And it's in HD! Check it out! Here's a link (after verifying age):

God of War III will also be featured in the next issue of Game Informer magazine. I was able to illustrate the cover and some of my concept designs will also appear in the inside article. I'll be sure to post them up here once it hits the stands. So check it out any day now!

man these are awesome andy.. I really enjoy your environments, great graphic reads and design work.
These make me swear. The composition in both is awesome. Hell, everything is awesome. The first one starts to cross into almost matte painting territory, and the colors are outstanding. The second one has sharp little brushstrokes that leave me scratching my head and saying: "Damn I want to paint like that. How the heck does he do it"

Amazing! I'm really curious how long the first one took - it's amazing how the light falls onto the scene. The natural areas look jaw-dropping!
